This is a perfect short kriya to do for depression, anxiety, anger, and stress! It’s never let me down when I need to shift my perspective quickly while also honoring my emotions.
HERE are the written instructions from the “Transitions to a Heart Centered World” manual. Please note I must have had an older version of the manual as posture #3 doesn’t say to repeat on the other side. This is why I am demonstrating it in the video on only one side. My manual also doesn’t say to shake out the body/relax at the end of the kriya. However, the manual’s author via the written instructions on her website says differently. I found doing it as described in the video was just as effective.
It is helpful to play the mantra ” Ek Ong Kar Sat Gur Prasad Sat Gur Prasad Ek Ong Kar” during the kriya, playing it on repeat at home, or chanting the mantra on it’s own. I particularly like the tracks by Sat Purk Kaur, Guru Das Kaur, and Jai Jagdeesh.
